Hello All!
Break has started and I'm back at school. It has been so much fun so far and from what i hear I have a new nephew! Isaiah 180 Frontside Grind Gerster. I can't wait to see pictures! Everything here is going well. It's a little lonely without Miche around, but she is doing well in France. She gets back on the 12th so only 11 more days! Barnes and Noble is treating me well, i go in at noon for my second day of work today. My boss never shuts up, it's pretty funny. I don't know who i'll be working with today, hopefully someone cool! My opera class saw Il Trovatore (The trobadore) this past wednesday. Pretty amazing. The tenor was alright. But the bass and the soprano were fantastic. Definatly very powerful voices. The lyric is an amazing place to see an opera too. The sound that is produced in that hall is extravagent! For the first half we sat in the first balcony above the mezanine and dress circle, which really wasn't that bad of a spot. The sound still got up to us and it sounded very nice. But for the second half my choir director pete found my friend amanda and i two spots near him on the first floor by all the rich people. That was amazing. The sound was so much more rich, and too see the expressions on the singers faces was breathtaking. Except for the tenor, he really didn't act all that much. People thought the mezzo did good, i don't know, she sang it well, i thought she was sub par to some of the other talent that she shared the stage with. But then again i'm not an opera critic. Anywho, i have to run and shower and get to the practice room before i go to work. I can't wait to go outside, we got a foot of snow last night! YAY!!!! Anyway, i'm off to work. Enjoy the holidays!
